What a deboss is
Debossing presses your design down into the surface of the card, leaving a recessed impression, the opposite of a raised emboss. Where ordinary printing sits on top of the paper, a deboss becomes part of it.
The pressed edges catch the light and cast tiny shadows, so the lettering has real depth. It is a finish people run a thumb across without thinking.
Made to be pressed
We press debossed cards into thick cotton or speciality card stock, which takes a deep, clean impression. They work best with strong, simple designs and fine typography, and can be customised with different stocks, ink colours and finishing options such as rounded corners.
